Celebrating WTD in Seagull Mountain Resort 2013

Teachers often coined as somebody whom you’ve seen inside the jeepney with 2 or more heavy bags and huge umbrellas, with envelopes, with no make-ups, with someone talking about reports, and sleeping.  But let me lay to you the prestige personality of teachers whom you’ve never seen.

OCTOBER 5, 2013 – Declared as World Teachers’ Day.  Becoming part of the noble profession lays a humble and quiet celebration together with my fellow constituents with in the school.

Through the initiative of our ever dearest School head Mrs. Nena P. Laurente and through the huge help of our City Government and Barangay Officials – we’ve come to celebrate the event in Seagull Mountain Resort, located in Buda, Davao del Sur.

Such a wonderful, greenly, foggy, elegant and nature friendly place for a team building activity.  Just like the lovely flowers and leafy pine trees surrounding the place, VFCES team made a successful affair in meeting up the objectives of the programs.  It strengthened our leadership skills and enhanced our personality and spirituality.

Posting evidence of genuine faces from great teachers outside the four corners of the classrooms.

A Forest and a Park in Dahilayan Forest Park:)

Last month I shared a post that I wrote for Wired Extremes. Today I have a new post over on another adventure in Forest Park located 100meters away from DAP . This story is one of my top picks for big adventure in Northern Mindanao travels last year, inspired by the movie “Forever and a Day” of KC and Sam.

that road you see is their luge terrain, later I'll show you:)
We're actually in the middle of the rain while taking this pix!
It was a cold and drizzling afternoon and the group headed to FP, paid php100.00/pax (depends if you’re a child or an adult, weekdays or weekends or holidays) for its entrance fee and since we cannot avail all their featured offers while raining, we therefore, spent minutes in Forest Cafe checking and taking some photo shots.

Coffee:)
Hmm, in a while the weather’s getting nicer so we grab our chances of playing in their playground, who would refuse to play in such a great park. These weren’t for kids alone:) hahah!

Was not able to get my balance, heheh

Apple playing!

Smile:)
One of the adult’s most favorite, oh, adventurer’s well loved is their “ATV” an All Terrain Vehicle (php650.00/pax) with 3.5 kilometers terrain outside the park, close to ATV is their “buggy” with 2 seating capacity (Php750.00 good for 2).
Here's the ATV!

Oh, and this one, the reason why I ended up having headache and gas pain, the ZORB BIT (Php250.00/pax). You would really thought that it rolls likes a ferries wheel, uh-oh no! it’s 100X faster than it.

Getting ready!
I’ve done this twice, and here’s the 2nd try. For greater effect, just keep a “straight roll”, for a little relaxing rolls you may try “zigzag roll”.

But of course why would I forget my ever loving “Luge” adventure, originated in Singapore and now adopted here in FR, here’s the local version. Takenote, this is their newest amenity.  It took several minutes before we’ve convinced Apple to try this, and guess what, this made her favorite. Ironic huh, but really cool. Admired those staffs in here, really nice and funny. Good people indeed.
Going to luge station

Atlast, the intrepid journey  had ended! ‘Til next tripJ
After I have vomited:)
