February! A month of love and a month to celebrate Flowers in Baguio as it stage the 18th year celebrating "Panagbenga Flower Festival 2013" in the Philippines. "Panagbenga" is a Kankana-ey term ( one of the dominant indigenous tribes in the city) which stands for "Flowering".
This year's theme "A Blooming Odyssey" reveals the city's various wealth-- its traditions, views, natures, products and overflowing talents and activities.
City's bed of flowers, floats and different arrangements are mostly the highlighted event during the month-long festival. Sure you don't want to miss their famous streetdances as well.
Most awaited schedule shall be on February 23, 2013 - GRAND STREET DANCING PARADE at Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl; February 24, 2013 - GRAND FLOAT PARADE on the same venue; February 25- March 3, 2013 - SESSION ROAD IN BLOOM still on the same venue.
Festival formally closes on March 5, 2013.
