you’ve been together, but rather how much you love and care each other
everyday”
Staying in a place where you’re an alien to everyone,
meeting few people of the same race with family and friends significantly miles
away from you lies a big confrontation between you and the new world you’re
into.
On the otherhand, adjusting yourself towards a new
environment on the last year of your law school lies a big responsibility of
striving hard to reach one’s goal.
Meanwhile, struggling between keeping yourself in your trade
or ascending yourself to a new milieu lies a big decision to be thought over.
Well, I would like to
boast in my friends – oh, my very good friends who never let our friendship ends
by its distance, studies, and work. Those things mentioned above? Well those are
their present status in life. Let me share a little about these friends I’m
talking about, our friendship originally started …
12 years ago, I never expected I’ll be meeting three of my most
treasured friends these days; Jen, Apple,
and Hanna. It all rooted when we became classmates during our high school days.
I was never really part of the group, it just so happened. Hmm, I’m like trying
to recall but can’t bring back the exact days how it settled up that way. Maybe
if you truly believe of having better influential friends, they’ll come to you
all along without you knowing it. I just suddenly felt important being cared of
with them, eating, conversing and going out with them seems so comforting and welcoming.

Then we reached college, we studied in different
universities and colleges but continued to be seeing each other and celebrated
moments together without prior planning- we’re so used into it, a lot. Then, we
arrived of having our own destinations, facing reality in different fields
where we see and talk less but communicate more.

I’m just so glad to share to you these people I’m proud of,
let’s start with---
Ms. Jen (Jennifer)-
yeah, the fashion icon, simple (we all
are), friendly, adventurer, trendy, entrepreneur, scientifically informative, the nurse and the one who has a lot of
crushes (hush,hush), and oh, the sexiest.
Among the group, she’s the one who has a lot of issues (complicated) but
resolves in anyway anyhow with hanna and
apple- the opinion makers and cherry- the childish listener.hahah.

Ms. Han/Haj (Hanna Jane) – the high school politician,
leader, guys’ favorite (but chooses few), simple, discreet, strict but smiley,
studious, the political analyst, the legal researcher, my boyfriend’s best, and
a lawyer-soon.

She’s the highly opinionated person among us who suddenly
disappears and deactivates her account in social networking sites and will be
texting you “she misses you” in the middle of the night. Hahah.

Ms. Pol (Apple) – the foodie (we all are), practical,
tactful, friendly with a pinch of strictness, adventure seeker, technologically
intellectual, the writer, the programmer, the agent, and the supervisor. She’s always been present in our dates and
listens on my career sentiments.hahah. The
most updated person among us in promo flights, foreign movies, foreign
television series, and foods. She always had an idea about next vacation’s
destination, and sales it. Hahah. sold.

Those were actually few of so many characteristics,
achievements and events of these women I’m telling you about for 12 years now,
and there’s a lot more. Anyway, we’re on our 24th, 25th,
and 26th year of existence and proud to be singles and career
achievers.

We don’t hung out in complete set, Jen is working out of the
country, Haj is studying out of town, while Apol is planning of going out, too. But when we do, we eat, talk and stalk. Yah! We’re
stalking people online and share opinions but we’ll end up talking about
ourselves and our futures.
See? Distance matters, in friendship and in any
relationship- it truly matters. It strengthens
the foundation of any relationships, or weakens and vanish it. And for the four of us, its naturally growing and maturing. We may be meeting new people and friends but ours never fade, only few will be given this blessing, and this one's worth the treasure.
